about

Margo Sanda is an Italian music producer, song-writer and multi-media artist based in Salò, Lake of Garda (Italy). Her work has been exhibited at the Sonorities Festival of Contemporary Music in Belfast (2016) and at the Stockholm Fringe Festival (2017). She released two EPs: 'Delay'(2017) and 'La Stanza Verde'(2020).

Margo collects field recordings and manipulates them so that they eventually become messengers for her emotions. The result are delicate songs that explore the boundaries between genres, emotionally charged by lyrics written in English and Italian. After a three-year stay in Berlin, Margo moved to Italy, close to the place where she grew up.

The latest release - La Stanza Verde - explores the themes of Coming Out and Acoustic Ecology.

~ The Green Room (La Stanza Verde) is a safe space. It’s where you go to allow yourself to express the parts of you which normally remain hidden: the queer, the violent, the fragile, the bitter, the bereaved, the uncompromising, and the fierce. ~
